LicenseBids combines expert licensing optimization with marketplace price discovery. The platform connects organizations with verified cloud partners through a structured, anonymous bidding process — giving buyers pricing transparency and giving partners fair access to qualified opportunities.
LicenseBids is a procurement marketplace for enterprise cloud licensing. Organizations submit requests for quote across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services. Qualified CSP and cloud partners respond with competitive bids. The marketplace standardizes comparison, removes information asymmetry, and gives buyers confidence that they are seeing market-representative pricing.
Microsoft has fundamentally restructured its channel economics. Enterprise Agreement discount waterfalls have been eliminated. Large account reseller subsidies and ESA advisory incentives have been removed. Direct sales coverage for SMB and mid-market organizations has been reduced, pushing licensing transactions into the partner channel.
The result is inconsistent expertise and rising costs. Organizations struggle to determine the correct licensing structure, establish a fair market price, and evaluate partner credibility. LicenseBids addresses this gap by creating a structured environment where pricing is competitive and partner qualifications are verified.
Organizations register free using a corporate domain. After registration, they submit an anonymous RFQ containing their license line items and commitment preferences. The RFQ is distributed to qualified partners who submit bids without knowing the buyer's identity.
Customers remain anonymous throughout the bidding process. Partners compete on pricing, service quality, and value-added capabilities. When the buyer is ready, they select a winning bid and identities are revealed for direct engagement.
Organizations can optionally engage independent licensing advisors who validate requirements, identify optimization opportunities, and prepare a clean bill of materials before releasing the RFQ to partners.
The advisor remains involved throughout the process — curating bids through the LicenseBids marketplace and partner network, hosting sales presentations, and working with the client to evaluate proposals, choose a partner, and award the contract. This engagement is optional and paid by the customer.
